El primer paso, obviamente, consiste en identificar el problema; el segundo, en plantear modificaciones en la perspectiva docente a partir del estudio de las diversas y actuales corrientes pedag\u00f3gicas; finalmente, nos ocupamos de imaginar y dise\u00f1ar nuevas formas de entender y atacar el problema de fondo. Podemos, en un esfuerzo de s\u00edntesis, se\u00f1alar los aspectos b\u00e1sicos que rigen nuestras investigaciones.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"brz-css-9wcvmc brz-wrapper brz-animated brz-css-crbe2e brz-css-u9t5lu brz-initialized brz-animate-opacity\" data-brz-iteration-count=\"1\" data-animationid=\"vuliutglfjcebwutbkmjgqabddsnvforjkiw\" data-brz-iteration-completed=\"2\"><div class=\"brz-rich-text brz-rich-text__custom brz-css-obg82e\" data-brz-custom-id=\"xjpaleuzvwsdasydunvsjgfasrbbbuuljozm\"><div data-brz-translate-text=\"1\"><ul><li class=\"brz-text-lg-justify brz-lh-xs-1_7 brz-fs-xs-16 brz-fs-sm-17 brz-tp-lg-paragraph brz-lh-sm-1_8 brz-text-xs-justify brz-css-bCvB_\" data-uniq-id=\"odpqo\" data-generated-css=\"brz-css-rgalz\">El desarrollo de las habilidades lecto-escriturales no compete solamente a los niveles b\u00e1sicos de educaci\u00f3n; los estudiantes universitarios, incluso si han demostrado pertenecer al grupo selecto que logra acceder a las instituciones de educaci\u00f3n superior, requieren desarrollar habilidades para leer y escribir y, por ende, necesitan de cursos donde un experto en lectura y escritura les ayude a alcanzar los niveles de lectura y escritura requeridos por la educaci\u00f3n superior y la actividad profesional.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"brz-css-9wcvmc brz-wrapper brz-animated brz-css-evdtjv brz-css-1euhvu brz-initialized brz-animate brz-animate-opacity\" data-brz-iteration-count=\"1\" data-animationid=\"twvqmpwnamueudsoapjuiemnzbzmimbgnpke\" data-brz-iteration-completed=\"2\"><div class=\"brz-rich-text brz-rich-text__custom brz-css-obg82e\" data-brz-custom-id=\"gifmrfjpqdlofxxvhnpzivkmtmclzghoqlsv\"><div data-brz-translate-text=\"1\"><ul><li class=\"brz-text-xs-justify brz-lh-sm-1_8 brz-tp-lg-paragraph brz-fs-sm-17 brz-fs-xs-16 brz-lh-xs-1_7 brz-text-lg-justify brz-css-lRu3L\" data-generated-css=\"brz-css-niyvx\" data-uniq-id=\"jhmat\">Las instituciones educativas de nivel superior deben comprender que aprender a leer y escribir no se limita simplemente a leer y escribir. Ser\u00eda descabellado siquiera imaginar que, tal y como aducen los docentes universitarios, los estudiantes de este nivel ciertamente no saben leer y escribir. Ocurre que saber leer y escribir en el \u00e1mbito universitario no se refiere a leer y escribir; tal concepto alude, en realidad, a que saber leer implica poder leer los textos cient\u00edficos propios de cada disciplina y saber escribir a poder redactar textos conforme a los c\u00e1nones formulados en la academia. Dicha diferencia ha sido explicada por los estudios realizados en las universidades desde los a\u00f1os ochenta del siglo pasado como la diferencia entre alfabetizaci\u00f3n y alfabetizaci\u00f3n disciplinar o literacidad.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"brz-css-9wcvmc brz-wrapper brz-animated brz-css-crbe2e brz-css-7aco4r brz-initialized brz-animate-opacity\" data-brz-iteration-count=\"1\" data-animationid=\"aktaczngkkqxobddacznockzfbhddkckpqsn\" data-brz-iteration-completed=\"2\"><div class=\"brz-rich-text brz-rich-text__custom brz-css-obg82e\" data-brz-custom-id=\"rihloghalqusmpwjkqihepvpetljbtkfxazw\"><div data-brz-translate-text=\"1\"><ul><li class=\"brz-text-lg-justify brz-lh-xs-1_7 brz-fs-xs-16 brz-fs-sm-17 brz-tp-lg-paragraph brz-lh-sm-1_8 brz-text-xs-justify brz-css-f4sud\" data-uniq-id=\"hhgbw\" data-generated-css=\"brz-css-lirzx\">La idea tradicional acerca de que los expertos en el \u00e1rea disciplinar de la literatura deben ser los encargados de ense\u00f1ar a leer y escribir a los alumnos universitarios \u2014aspecto defendido, sobre todo, por los docentes de las otras disciplinas\u2014 es, quiz\u00e1s, la primera falacia que debe ser destruida. En primer lugar, porque tal idea oculta una concepci\u00f3n clasista de la educaci\u00f3n, aqu\u00e9lla que postula que leer y escribir se refiere exclusivamente a leer y escribir alta literatura; en segundo lugar, debido a que, si hemos asentado que saber leer y escribir en la universidad significa saber leer textos cient\u00edficos y saber escribir textos acad\u00e9micos, desarrollar las habilidades art\u00edsticas de los estudiantes de \u00e1reas disciplinares ajenas al arte \u2014y eso incluye a los estudiantes de las carrera en Letras, pues el objetivo de \u00e9sta es formar cr\u00edticos y te\u00f3ricos de la literatura, no crear poetas y novelistas\u2014 es, francamente, absurdo.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"brz-css-9wcvmc brz-wrapper brz-animated brz-css-crbe2e brz-css-1ig3gzr brz-initialized brz-animate-opacity\" data-brz-iteration-count=\"1\" data-animationid=\"asjagzjaiicmpbamvtjyaugbrevrvgeyrnlz\" data-brz-iteration-completed=\"2\"><div class=\"brz-rich-text brz-rich-text__custom brz-css-obg82e\" data-brz-custom-id=\"daksbovzrraiwmbrxkyikgizzcmivhdbngab\"><div data-brz-translate-text=\"1\"><ul><li class=\"brz-text-lg-justify brz-lh-xs-1_7 brz-fs-xs-16 brz-fs-sm-17 brz-tp-lg-paragraph brz-lh-sm-1_8 brz-text-xs-justify brz-css-tnEUx\" data-uniq-id=\"lhwbv\" data-generated-css=\"brz-css-jithg\">Si los estudiantes universitarios requieren aprender a leer y escribir los textos propios de su \u00e1rea disciplinar, entonces es f\u00e1cil colegir que los docentes encargados de ayudarles a desarrollar sus habilidades lecto-escriturales disciplinares deben ser los propios docentes \u2014profesionales expertos de su \u00e1rea\u2014 de cada colegio o divisi\u00f3n. Esta propuesta, obviamente, se enfrenta a la reticencia de los docentes universitarios, quienes suelen arg\u00fcir que ense\u00f1ar a leer y escribir no forma \u2014y no debe formar\u2014 parte de sus obligaciones docentes.
